Troops of Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), on Friday, neutralised 42 terrorists. They destroyed five gun trucks and motorcycles on Doron Naira Island operations in Lake Chad region. The task force also arrested Abu Talib, Commander of Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) during air interdiction in the Arege-Malkorony axis of the region. on June 21, 2019, soldiers embarked on clearance operations to disrupt ISWAP activities on the Island and adjourning communities. The troops effectively suppressed ISWAP to clear the Island of any terrorists’ activities.
